LinCS-Lab is a meeting point for researchers within LinCS. We support activities such as fieldwork, post processing of data materials, and analysis and storage of materials. The video lab works as a resource for those who need technical assistance or just want to share experience of fieldwork with others.
The lab offers seminars and workshops on the planning fieldwork, generation of data materials and after production of audio and video materials. We discuss various aspects of doing video based educational research with a focus on learning and interaction. These aspects vary from basic technical questions related to video and sound documentation, to more theoretical aspects such as how to do different kinds of analyses of learning and interaction in various settings.
At the moment the lab is equipped with video and audio editing systems, video cameras and microphones which can be booked and borrowed.
