Biosketch: Martin Tallvid

I am a part-‐time Ph.D-student since 2006 at the Department of Applied
Information Technology, University of Gothenburg, within the framework of Centre for Educational Science and Teacher Research (CUL). Apart from my PhD studies I work part‐time as teacher at an upper secondary school in Gothenburg. I have more than thirty years of experience from teaching in compulsory school, upper secondary school and adult education. I mainly teach in social sciences and psychology.

My research interest lies in how ICT changes school and classroom practices in general. More specifically my research focus is on how ICT becomes part in teacher’s collective and individual planning and design activities and change classroom activities, when every student is provided with mobile digital devices, like laptops. I am also focusing how teachers planning and teaching activities relate to teachers' knowledge and skills, conceptualized as TPACK.
