Lars-Erik Jonsson is senior lecturer at the University of Gothenburg. He started his career at the university as a teacher trainer. Today his research and teaching interests are about the development of e-learning and he bears the main responsibility for the distance education masters program "Learning, communication, and IT" at the Faculty of Applied Information Technology at the University of Gothenburg. He has also participated in research of other educational settings where technology plays an important role. Among these are military fighter pilot training, engineering training and schooling from primary to upper secondary level. Lars-Erik Jonsson has also carried out research and evaluation assignments for the Swedish National Agency for Education and the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education.
