Biosketch: Dr. Camilla Moring

Camilla is a senior lecturer at the Royal School of Library and Information Science (RSLIS) in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she has been teaching since 1996. From 2011-2013 she holds a post doctoral fellowship position at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science at the University of Borås. Her research interests lies within the area of information literacy and information practice, organizational learning, and practice learning. Her doctoral thesis presents results from a study of newcomer learning and information practice based on field work among organizational newcomers.

In her present research project Camilla is exploring how young people may develop information- and digital literacies across different educational practices, when they move from their last year in upper secondary school to their first year at University.
