Biosketch: Pernilla Larsson

Pernilla has a degree of Bachelor of Education in Swedish for the Compulsory School, Earlier Stages, and in Special Education. Since February 2007 she is working at the Department of Education, University of Gothenburg. Her main interests are in the analysis of 'schoolproblems' and processes of marginalization.

Pernilla is currently writing her master thesis, which is a historical study of processes of learning and teaching in special classes in the 1960's. Her interest is in the interaction between teachers and pupils. More specific, she focus on situations when the teachers are correcting pupils' behaviour and action in the classroom.
